Big Fun Productions creates customized comic strips
for the big egos in your world. Adam Holzman, founder and doodler
extraordinaire, started out penning his comic pages for friends
and family while waiting for gigs to start, his first vocation
being a keyboard player in his own band, Brave
New World, and in the past, with Miles Davis, Grover Washington
Jr. and Chaka Khan.
His drawings immortalized his son Russell, his wife Jane, his
Dad, his Mom, and others, in personalized comic strips that tell
the story of their lives. There's "The
Many Sides of Jane", for example, or the strip about
"Dad Goes To Russia" or his Father's
Day ode entitled, "Some Things That Are Great About Dad".
Simple and colorful, each strip reflects Holzman's slightly- skewed
sensibility about life, which makes its subject matter funny,
ironic, and endearing. Okay, it's a little sarcastic, too,
but you wouldn't want it otherwise.
